We insure up to 25 Kgs. with a limit per claim of up to €13,000,000. For other conditions, please request a personalised study.

(Algeria, Burundi, Cabinda, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Somalia, The Republic of Sudan, South Sudan, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Afghanistan, Jammu & Kashmir, Myanmar, North Korea, Pakistan, Georgia, Nagorno-Karabakh, North Caucasian Federal District, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen).

The insurance of a DRONE is compulsory, and is regulated by Spanish Law (Royal Decree 8/2014) Before starting to work with a DRON you must:

1-  Take out Civil Liability insurance

2-  Obtain a Drone Pilot’s Licence, which is issued by official aeronautical training schools (ATO). There you take a theory course with a multiple-choice test, a medical examination to obtain a medical certificate, and a practical examination.

The cost of all this is between 600€ and 2.000€.

3-  With the certificate in hand, you have to register with the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).

4-  Specifications from the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA):

  • The maximum height that a drone can reach is 120 metres.
  • The person controlling the drone may NOT be at a distance of more than 500 metres.
  • A DRONE may only be flown in areas suitable for this purpose, such as a model flying area or an unpopulated area.
  • Its use is prohibited in cities or any open space where there are people such as parks, football fields, demonstrations or concerts.
  • The use of the DRON in night visibility conditions is prohibited.
  • It is obligatory to respect a minimum distance of 8 kilometres from an airport or where other aircraft are passing at low altitude.
  • In the event of damage to a third party, the responsibility always lies with the person controlling the DRONE.
  • Misuse of an aircraft can lead to a fine of up to 225.000€.
